I am an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South Florida. I specialize in normative ethics, applied ethics, moral psychology, and philosophy of education. My research and work sit at the intersection of AI ethics and character formation. I explore all things through a Neo-Aristotelian lens. I also apply my research and experience on human formation as a consultant at Partners in Mission, helping schools discern how to prudently integrate AI technology (in both operations and in the classroom) without diminishing the goods that make life worth living.
